TOLEDO, Ohio. - The Louisville Bats fell 7-5 in the fourth game of a five-game series with the Toledo Mud Hens on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Field. A five-run Mud Hens comeback was the difference in a Toledo victory.

After the Bats jumped out to a five-run lead thanks to a four-run fourth inning, the Mud Hens responded with seven unanswered runs, including a five-run sixth inning.

The Bats scored the game's first run in the second inning when first baseman Steve Selsky doubled for the sixth time in May and third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean drove him in on a sacrifice fly.

Toledo starter, right-hander Dustin Molleken (0-1, 2.95) worked three complete innings, allowing one hit, one run, and walking one. He did not fair in the decision.

On the first pitch of the fourth inning, designated hitter Jermaine Curtis made it 2-0 with a homer to left field and the Bats didn't stop there. Three straight hits would follow, loading the bases and the Bats notched their third run on a wild pitch. With runners at second and third now, second baseman Carlos Triunfel cleared the bases with his fifth double of the season to make it 5-0 Bats.

Louisville starter A.J. Morris (0-1, 3.38) worked five and one-third innings, allowed five earned runs on eight hits, walked three and struck out five, in a no-decision.

Inning by inning the Mud Hens crept their way back in the game and the offense finally erupted in the sixth inning. Down 5-2, the Mud Hens used a two-run and three-run homer to jump out in front 7-5.

The loss was delivered to Bats right hander Stephen Johnson (0-1, 4.50) after he surrendered two runs on four hits in two and two-thirds innings pitched.

Bats left fielder Hernán Iribarren extended his current team-high hitting streak to nine games. Nine straight games is the longest hitting streak by a Bats player this season.

The Bats and Mud Hens will finish their five-game series at 10:35 a.m. tomorrow. The Bats will send left-hander Cody Reed (2-0, 1.46) to the mound, while the Mud Hens will hand the ball to right hander Thad Weber (4-1, 1.17).
