Today's Game
This afternoon, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Pawtucket Red Sox in the final game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field. Following their tilt with the PawSox, the Herd makes their first trip to Syracuse of the season for a three-game series June 29-30 and July 1. The team then will play a four-game home and home series against Scranton Wilkes/Barre that includes the July 3rd Independence Eve celebration at the ballpark.
Last Night's Game: BUF 3, PAW 1
RHP Chris Rowley earned his eighth quality start in yesterday's victory. The righty had his longest outing of the season going 8.0IP, 5H, 1R/ER, 0BB, 6SO. RHP Jake Petricka finished the game with a strikeout to record his second save of the season. OF Roemon Fields led the offense going 2-4 with his second triple of the season. The Herd took the lead in the seventh after back to back RBI singles from C Reese McGuire and INF/OF Darnell Sweeney.
Pawtucket (7-8)
The Bisons and PawSox last played each other June 19-21 where Pawtucket took three of the four games. Buffalo looks for redemption as they now play host to their division rival. In 12 games against the Sox, C Danny Jansen is 19-41 (.463) with eight extra-base hits and a .560 on-base percentage. The two teams will close out their season series in Buffalo August 24-27.
Today's Starter: RHP Jon Harris
RHP Jon Harris makes his triple-A debut this afternoon against the PawSox. Harris is coming from New Hampshire (AA) where he currently has a three game winning streak (18.2IP, 2R/ER, 1BB, 16SO). The righty is a former 1st Round Draft Pick by the Blue Jays in 2015.
Roemon Fields
OF Roemon Fields went 2-4 with his second triple of the season. He also had the game tying RBI single in the fourth. Fields has been a dominate force at the plate his last 5 games. He is batting 6-15 (.400) with two triples and 4RBI's.
Darnell Sweeney
INF/OF Darnell Sweeney went 1-3 last night with an RBI single to extend the Bisons lead to 3-1 in last night's victory. Sweeney was also active on the base path swiping his fourth bag of the season and scoring the tying run. 5 out of 6 Sweeney's home runs this season have come off of right handed pitching.

RHP Jon Harris was promoted to the Bisons from New Hampshire (AA).
Bisons' Bits
C Danny Jansen and INF Jason Leblebijian will represent the Bisons in the 2018 All-Star Game on 7/11. Jansen is leading the team in batting average (.299), hits (58), and RBIs (39). The backstop also is in the IL top ten in batting ranking 9th and is second in on base percentage with .413. Leblebijian leads the Herd in runs (33) and homeruns (10).
Blue Jays Update
Toronto (37-43) lost the final game of their three-game series against the Houston Astros. OF Randal Grichuk went 2-5 with a double and run scored. After a scheduled off day 6/28 the Blue Jays will host the Detroit Tigers for a four game series spanning 6/29-7/2. Blue Jays look to start a winning streak behind RHP Marcus Stroman on Friday (7:07p.m.).
