April 14, 2010 - International League (IL1)
Pawtucket Red Sox News Release

The PawSox started off their first road trip with a thud as they faced off against the Buffalo Bisons. Adam Mills gave up three runs in the third inning and the PawSox bats never really came alive.

R.A. Dickey had a solid outing throwing a complete game, scattering nine hits and striking out five to pick up his first win of the season.

Former PawSox outfielder, Chris Carter drove in four runs as the Bisons downed the PawSox, 8-2. Carter finished the game only needing a home run to complete the cycle. Carter finished the game with four hits, a single, two doubles and a triple. Carter punished his former team by providing most of the offense needed for the Bisons win.

Darnell McDonald had a good day going 3 for 4 with an RBI double. Tug Hulett had a solo homerun for the PawSox.

The two teams face off again on Thursday beginning at 4:05pm. Daisuke Matsuzaka takes the hill making his second start for the PawSox. He will take on Pat Misch of the Buffalo Bisons. Listen to the game on pawsox.com.
