Bisons Activate LHP Chuck James off DL

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that LHP CHUCK JAMES has been activated off the team's disabled list. RHP JEFF STEVENS has been transferred to the Single-A Brooklyn.
James has missed 14 games after being placed on the disabled list on May 2 with a lower back strain. Prior to the injury, James had posted a 0.93ERA in nine appearances with the Bisons (9.2IP 6H, 1R, 1ER, 5BB, 8K).
Stevens has pitched in 13 games for the Bisons. He is 0-1 with a 3.00ERA and 12 strikeouts in 15.0 innings of work for Buffalo (17H, 10R, 5ER, 8BB).
