Syracuse Chiefs Golf Tournament Set for June 13

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, will host a team golf tournament at Timber Banks Golf Club & Marina in Baldwinsville on Wednesday, June 13. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Syracuse Chiefs Charitable Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 corporation which implements programs to improve the health and educational opportunities of families and youth in the Central New York community.

Chiefs fans are invited to play along with Chiefs players, coaches, and staff. The tournament will feature a four-person scramble format with a noon shotgun start. Lunch will be provided at the turn.

The winning team will receive a $400 credit at the Timber Banks Golf Club pro shop. Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one contest.

Registration for the event is $150.00 per person and includes a cart, greens fees, prizes, and a steak dinner after the round. Registration forms can be found on www.syracusechiefs.com. Checks should be made payable to Syracuse Chiefs Charitable Foundation, Inc., and can be mailed to Brandon Massey at One Tex Simone Drive, Syracuse, NY 13208. Golfers should include their name, phone number, e-mail and home addresses.
