MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Biscuits (43-26) and Chattanooga Lookouts (36-32) split their doubleheader on Saturday night at Riverwalk Stadium, with the Lookouts taking the first one, 10-4 in nine innings, and the Biscuits, dressed in their throwback Montgomery Rebels uniforms, winning the second one, 2-0.

Paul Campbell made his second Double-A start in the first game, and made it his second-straight quality outing, hurling seven innings of three-run ball. The Biscuits got an RBI-single from the Sothern League leader in RBIs, Jesus Sanchez in the third, and a two-run missile of a home run from David Rodriguez in the fourth. Montgomery led 3-2 before a Jose Siri RBI-single tied the game in the fifth.

The game shifted into extras, where the contest got out of hand for the Biscuits after neither team scored in the eighth. The Lookouts tagged Phoenix Sanders and position player Brett Sullivan for a season-high seven combined runs in the top of the ninth thanks to a pair of two-run triples by Chris Okay and Alfredo Rodriguez, a two-run single by Mitch Nay, and a sac fly by Tyler Stephenson. The Biscuits pulled a run back in the bottom of the ninth on a Miles Mastrobuoni RBI-single, but dropped the first game, 10-4, their first loss of the series.

In the second game, Kevin Padlo tattooed his eighth home run of the season, a two-run shot to left in the first inning, which was all the Biscuits would need. Tyler Zombro was perfect in two innings as the opener, and Blake Bivens (3-0) put together one of his stronger outings of the year, tossing four scoreless innings, surrendering just two hits, one walk, and four strikeouts. Ivan Pelaez secured his first save of the season, working a scoreless seventh, and sealed the Biscuits 10th shutout of 2019. The win also handed the Biscuits their 11th series win of the year (11-2-1).

The Biscuits will close out the First Half against the Lookouts on Sunday when Josh Fleming (5-3) battles against Johendi Jiminian (2-2) at 5:05 PM CT which will feature a Father's Day Tie Giveaway.
