Bina Named National Conference All-Star Starter

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers© announced today that defenseman Robbie Bina has been named to the National Conference All-Star team as a starter. The 2010 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok Hockey will be hosted by the Ontario Reign at Citizens Business Bank Arena and played on Jan. 20 while the 2010 ECHL All-Star Skills Competition will be held on Jan. 19.

Bina, 27, has appeared in 22 games for Las Vegas this season, and is tied for sixth among defenseman scoring with 19 points. Bina also appeared in two games this season for the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL, recording one assist.

Bina, a Grand Forks, ND native, is currently in his second full professional season and first with Las Vegas. In the 2008-09 season, Bina split time between the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, and the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. The 27-year-old defenseman appeared in 149 games over a four-year career at the University of North Dakota from 2004 to 2008.
