Ontario Clippers News Release

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Agua Caliente Clippers (10-11) break a two-game skid, surging past the Iowa Wolves (11-12), 105-95, to earn their first win of the new decade.

After a hot start put the Clippers up by as much as 12 in the first half, the Wolves clawed back in the third quarter, taking a 70-68 lead with 3:30 remaining the quarter. Agua Caliente was unfazed, however, responding with a huge 26-6 run, capped off by a Terance Mann three-pointer, to take an 18-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

All five Clippers' starters recorded double-digit points, led by Johnathan Motley's 16 points on eight-for-12 shooting form the field. Terance Mann, on assignment from the LA Clippers, filled up the stat sheet scoring 12 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.

The Wolves were led by Jaylen Nowell's game-high 24 points on nine-of-18 shooting from the field and four-of-seven shooting from distance.

The Clippers hit the road for a three-game road trip, opening on Saturday night against the Salt Lake City Stars. The game is slated to tip-off at 6 p.m. PST inside the Lifetime Activities Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
