FRISCO, Texas - Preston Beck delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to vault the Riders past the Amarillo Sod Poodles 5-4 Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
SYNOPSIS
* Beck's single came with two outs in the ninth, countering Amarillo's game-tying run in the top of the inning.
* After falling behind 3-0 early, the Riders tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the third and took the lead on a RBI single from Andretty Cordero in the fifth.
