Bears stumble in Norfolk 5-1

HERSHEY begins a four games in five night stretch with a 5-1 loss against the Admirals at Norfolk Scope.

In the first period, Carl Corazzini scored his 13th goal of the season just 20 seconds into the game to give the Admirals a 1-0 lead. Corazzini would then score a power play goal at the 12:30 mark of the first to stake the Admirals to a 2-0 advantage. Norfolk outshot HERSHEY 8-4 in the first period to take a two-goal lead into the dressing room.

The Admirals kept it going early in the second when Mark Cullen picked up his 17th goal of the season just 1:12 into the period. Norfolk would add a second power play goal on the same major penalty against HERSHEY'S Eric Fehr when Danny Richmond potted his fifth goal of the year at 2:05. Norfolk rounded out the second period scoring with an even strength goal from Nathan Barrett at 13:55 of the period to lead 5-0 after two. Fehr would add his 20th goal early in the third period to account for HERSHEY'S only goal of the game.

The BEARS will take on the Admirals again this Friday night at Norfolk Scope at 7:15 p.m. HERSHEY will then head home to face the Binghamton Senators Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and Norfolk Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for both games this weekend are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 508-BEAR. Air-time Friday night from Norfolk is at 6:55 p.m.
