
Beach Bums Step Up to the Plate to Fight Hunger

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.-- The Traverse City Beach Bums have "stepped up to the plate" to help Traverse City pantries restock their shelves after a busy last couple months.
Over the final 15 home games, anyone that donates $10 worth of non-perishable food items to the Goodwill Inn on Keystone Road, the Goodwill Store on South Airport Road, or the Father Fred Foundation on Hastings Street, will receive a free Beach Bums game ticket.
Donations may also be made at the Wuerfel Park ticket office which is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, as well as until the sixth inning on home game dates.
Keep the donations coming. The Beach Bums are willing to donate up to 10,000 tickets to help re-stock local food pantries.
