Bridgewater, New Jersey - The Bowie Baysox (48-32) took their second straight game over the Somerset Patriots (50-31) with an 8-3 win at TD Bank Ballpark on Friday evening.

Two bases loaded walks and a sacrifice fly put Bowie up early in the first.

Max Burt crushed a two-run home run (5) in the third and Oswaldo Cabrera's RBI double in the sixth tied up the game.

Malquin Canelo put the Baysox back in front with a two-run blast (4) in the seventh.

Another bases loaded walk, and RBI singles by Canelo and Cadyn Grenier, put the game out of reach.

Brandon Lockridge, Oswald Peraza, and Michael Beltre each had multiple hits in the loss. Beltre's defense was on display with two catches at the centerfield wall to rob home runs.

Blaine Knight (W, 3-3) picked up the win with an earned run on four hits in three innings pitched.

Barrett Loseke pitched 3.2 scoreless innings of relief and struck out three for Somerset. Michael Gomez (L, 3-1) suffered the loss with four earned runs on two hits in 1.2 innings pitched.

Somerset and Bowie will play again at 7:05 pm on Saturday at TD Bank Ballpark.
