
Senators Hang on against Erie

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Senators made it two straight over Erie with a 7-6 win Friday night at FNB Field in front of 4,490 fans. The Senators had a 7-2 lead when Erie started chipping away. The SeaWolves scored a run in the seventh then three in the eighth and had the tying run at third in the eighth when the frame ended. Harrisburg has won five of their past seven games.
ON CAPITAL HILL
Jackson Tetreault went five innings for his second win against no losses. He allowed two runs on five hits while striking out three.
Pearson McMahan went two innings and allowed four runs on four hits. He also struck out two and didn't walk a batter.
Carlas Navas earned his first save with the Senators retiring six of the final seven batters he faced. In the ninth, with two outs, he allowed a double but ended the game with a strikeout.
WITH THE GAVEL
Donovan Casey had a single, double, and home run, drove in two and scored three times to lead the Senators. He also stole a base.
Jake Alu had a two-run single and scored a run.
Nick Banks had a hit and scored twice.
FILIBUSTERS
For the second straight game the Senators had an outfield assist when Cole Freeman threw out Riley Greene at second in the first inning. The teams combined to throw 324 pitches in the game and the game took 3:10 to play. Cole Freeman had his seven-game hit streak snapped. Harrisburg went 3-for-6 with runners in scoring position.

The Senators and Erie SeaWolves play game five of their six-game series Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at FNB Field. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 5:40 p.m.
