Baysox make more moves

The Bowie Baysox have announced a series of roster moves since the All-Star break:

Thursday, July 16 - INF Brandon Pinckney transferred to AAA Norfolk

Saturday, July 18 - INF Jason White transferred to Bowie from A+ Frederick

Monday, July 20 - RHP David Hernandez recalled by the Baltimore Orioles

Monday, July 20 - 3B Mike Costanzo placed on the disabled list

Monday, July 20 - RHP Tim Bascom activated from the disabled list

In 10 games with the Baysox, Pinckney hit .293 with three doubles, one home run and five RBI. He recorded at least one hit in each game he played.

White played in 13 games for the Frederick Keys before being promoted to Bowie, batting .195 with four RBI.

Hernandez made one start for the Baysox, holding the Altoona Curve to one run over 4.0 innings on two hits and a walk while striking out four.

Costanzo has hit .201 in 60 games with Bowie, tallying 12 doubles, three home runs and 29 RBI. He will be eligible to come off the disabled list on Monday, July 27.

Bascom was placed on the disabled list July 13. Prior to his stint on the disabled list, Bascom was 2-2 with a 3.75 ERA in 6 starts.
