Baysox Host Family Campout

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the annual Family Campout at Prince George's Stadium Friday, July 30, after the Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 7:05 p.m. Kids are invited to wear their sleepwear to the game for the Kids Pajama Party and the campout features postgame fireworks, a family-friendly movie on the video board and Baysox prizes.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers looks forward to the event. "Our family campout has really grown over the last couple years." Rogers said. "It's rare when you get to have fun at a ballpark all night long. Last year we had a huge turnout for the event, so we encourage fans to register early."

There is no additional charge to stay overnight, but space is limited and fans need to reserve space in the outfield ahead of time. The Baysox offer families discounted tickets and food vouchers for the event. To take advantage of the discounts and to register to stay overnight, fans can contact Rogers at (301) 464-4855.
