DURHAM, N.C. - The Louisville Bats (71-70) dropped the fifth game of their series to the Durham Bulls (84-59) on Saturday night, falling 9-2 in the penultimate road game of the season.

Henry Ramos went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run, but the Bats offense was held to only six hits on a night where the Bulls left the yard four times, three of which came in the fifth inning.

With offense at a premium through the first three innings, the Bulls broke the seal in the home half of the fourth with a pair of runs before exploding for five more in the fifth to take a 7-0 advantage.

The Bulls plated another two runs in the seventh to go up by nine runs, but the Bats erased any hope of a shutout when Ramos and Jose Barrero crushed solo home runs in the top of the ninth inning.

Ryan Nutof (4-2, 5.69) pieced together a scoreless sixth inning in relief while Levi Stoudt (4-6, 6.58) shut the Bulls down in the eighth.

The series finale in Durham will feature RHP Lyon Richardson (0-1, 9.28 ERA) for the Bats facing off against Bulls RHP Nathan Wiles (7-1, 5.68 ERA). First pitch is slated for 1:05 p.m. ET.
