Bates Earns Call-Up to San Antonio

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers© announced that forward Jamie Bates has been loaned to the San Antonio Rampage. The Wranglers also announced that left wing Blair Riley has returned to Las Vegas from San Antonio.

Bates, 25, has been called up to San Antonio after his recent hot streak with Las Vegas. Bates has appeared in 23 games with the Wranglers so far this season and currently leads the team in points with 31 (12g, 19a). Since December 29th, Bates has scored seven goals and added seven assists to take first in the ECHL with his point streak.

Riley, 25, returns from San Antonio after being loaned to the Rampage on December 29, 2010. In 25 games with Las Vegas this season, Riley has tallied 12 points (4g, 8a) and earned 41 penalty minutes. While in San Antonio, Riley appeared in four games and scored one goal.

The Wranglers return home from their extended road trip this Friday, January 14th, to face the Ontario Reign as they begin a seven-game home stand. The puck drops at 7:05 pm.

The Las Vegas Wranglers© are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
