
Street & Urquhart Reassigned from AHL

WHEELING, WV ¬" The Wheeling Nailers announced Wednesday that forward Ben Street has been reassigned by the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, while defenseman David Urquhart has been reassigned by the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.
Street, 23, appeared in three gamesin his most recent second stint with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and went scoreless, after making his AHL debut on December 15 against Abbotsford Heat. Street is currently second in scoring for the Nailers this season, posting 32 points (14g, 18a), while ranking second in the league in shots on goal with 152. The 5-11, 185-lb. native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, was recently named to the ECHL All-Star Team, and earned ECHL Player of the Month Honors, posting 20 points (10g, 10a) in 10 games played in the month of December.
Urquhart, 26, appeared in 13 games with the Bulldogs this season recording an assist and four penalty minutes. In 17 games with Wheeling this season, Urquhart registered six points (1g, 5a) and 15 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 190-pound defenseman has played a total of 120 AHL games amassing 19 points (6g, 13a) and 74 penalty minutes.
Both players are expected to be in the lineup tonight when they Nailers battle the Trenton Devils at Sun National Bank Center. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The game will be available on The Mix 97.3 FM, wheelingnailers.com, or watch the game on RTV9 courtesy of American One.
The Nailers return home this Saturday against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Saturday's game is "Pack the House" Night. Tickets are only $5 (plus $0.50 arena fee) for any seat in the house! The first 2,000 fans will receive a free Nailers team poster, and there will be a team autograph session following the game.
