
Bass Assigned to Milwaukee, Ads Sign White

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Cody Bass to Milwaukee. In addition, the Admirals have signed forward Matt White to a Professional Try-Out contract (PTO).
Bass played in a pair of games for the Predators on his first recall of the season, posting three shots while averaging 6:30 of ice time. He has four points (4a) and a team-leading 45 penalty minutes in 19 games this season for the Admirals. An alternate captain with Milwaukee, Bass has appeared in 51 career NHL games between Nashville, Columbus and Ottawa, posting five points (2g-3a) and 71 penalty minutes.
White joins the Admirals after playing this season with the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL. He is the Monarchs leading scorer, tallying 22 points (10g-12a) in just 19 games to go along with a +9 rating. A native of Whittier, CA, White posted 28 goals and 32 assists for the Ontario Reign last season and notched 18 points in 19 playoffs games while leading the club to the Western Conference Finals.
The Admirals return to the ice Saturday night when they will travel to Chicago to take on the Wolves at 7 pm at the Allstate Arena in Amtrak Rivalry Action.
