
B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced several roster moves including the signing of forward Kyle Flanagan to a player try-out and the recall of Ryan Penny from the Evansville Icemen. In a separate transaction the Ottawa Senators announced they have reassigned forward Colin Greening to Binghamton.
Flanagan, 26, has appeared in 12 games with the Adirondack Thunder of ECHL this season where he has tallied two goals and eight assists along with 10 penalty minutes. A native of Canton, NY, Flanagan spent last year in the Swedish Hockey League. During the 2013-14 season Flanagan skated in 63 games with the Adirondack Phantoms recording six goals and 22 points. The 5-9, 180 pound forward played four years of collegiate hockey at St. Lawrence University totaling 101 assists and 147 points over 134 career games.
Penny, 21, who spent training camp with Binghamton, is currently tied for the team lead in Evansville with ten points (three goals+seven assists) in 17 games played. The Fall River, NS, native finished up his junior hockey career last season with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League totaling 70 points (32+38) in 66 games played.
Greening returns to Binghamton after appearing in one game with Ottawa this year. The 6-3, 215 pound forward has accumulated nine points (4+5) in 16 games with the B-Sens this season.
Binghamton returns to action tonight when they travel to Syracuse for a 7:00p.m. faceoff versus the Crunch. The B-Sens are back home tomorrow, December 5, when they host the St. John's IceCaps at 7:05p.m. for their annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
