
IceCaps Top Comets in Overtime Battle

St. John's IceCaps News Release
Utica, NY - The IceCaps extended their point streak to ten-games as they defeated the Utica Comets 2-1 in overtime. It was the first-ever match up between the teams in IceCaps franchise history.
Bud Holloway scored the winner for St. John's in a back and forth overtime battle. Mark Barberio picked up the assist on the winning-goal, tieing Holloway for the most assists in the league with 17 apiece.
Angelo Miceli netted the first period tally for the IceCaps, assisted by Luke Pither and Tim Bozon - recording his first professional point. Utica's Ashton Sautner tied it up early in the second to send the game past regulation.
Eddie Pasquale was spectacular between the pipes for St. John's, stopping 30 of 31 shots in a first star performance.
