Barrie And Windsor Complete Trade

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that they have completed a trade with the Windsor Spitfires.

Barrie has sent center Taylor Carnevale to the Spitfires in exchange for center Eric Locke and goalie Josh Malecki.

Carnevale leaves Barrie after spending parts of three seasons with the Colts. In 33 games this year, Carnevale was third in team scoring with 24 goals and 20 assists for 44 points.

In Locke and Malecki, Barrie gets back a pair of 17-year olds. Locke has scored 19 times in 38 games this season and has a total of 33 points.

Josh Malecki has yet to start a game this season but has played three times in relief duty.

This is the third trade Barrie has pulled off in the last two days leading up to today's trade deadline.
