Barnstormers, Road Warriors to Play One on Sunday

LANCASTER, Pa.-The Atlantic League has canceled the second game of a double header between the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Road Warriors scheduled for Sunday, September 18, the last day of the regular season. The game, which was rescheduled due to inclement weather, has been deemed unnecessary, as it does not factor in the playoff race.

Lancaster will close the regular season on Sunday with one nine-inning game against the Road Warriors, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. for Fan Appreciation Day.

The Barnstormers will kick off the postseason on Wednesday, September 21, facing the York Revolution in the Freedom Division Finals. Games 1 and 2 will be played at Sovereign Bank Stadium on September 21 and 22, respectively. The series will turn to Lancaster for Games 3, *4 and *5 (*if necessary). Game 3 is slated for Friday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m., with Game 4 at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 24 and Game 5 at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25.
