(Central Islip, NY) - On Friday evening, September 16, the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball ("ALPB") welcomed its 25 Millionth Fan through the turnstiles in this, the 14th year of existence for the circuit. On Friday night, Charlie and Diane Barbeisch were chosen as the honorary 25 millionth fan to represent the Long Island Ducks. The long-time season ticketholders threw out a first pitch prior to Friday night's game against the Bluefish, and they will have a chance to be part of a special celebration for the milestone during the 2011 Atlantic League Championship Series.
