LAST GAME: The B-Mets smacked three home runs in their 8-2 win over Bowie Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium. Tyler Pill earned the win in his B-Met return, allowing a run in 5.1 innings. Jonathan Galvez hit his first home run in a B-Met uniform, followed by Jared King's fourth home run of the season. Josh Rodriguez later added a grand slam in the fifth inning to break the game open.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Robert Gsellman is making his 12th start with Binghamton and the first of his career against Bowie. He's coming off a win, allowing two unearned runs in five innings against New Britain. Gsellman has allowed two total earned runs over his last four starts combined. Gsellman has won each of his last three decisions and has posted an ERA of 2.51 since June 13th.

BOWIE STARTER: LHP Ariel Miranda is making his third start with Bowie. Miranda is coming off a win against Trenton, allowing an earned run in five innings. In total, he has surrendered just one earned run in his first 11 innings with the Baysox. It's his first season in the Baltimore organization and in affiliated baseball as a whole. He spent seven seasons pitching in Cuba.

THAT'S RIGHT: Jared King's home run Tuesday was the first of his career when batting from the right side of the plate. In 213 career at-bats, King is batting .263 as a righty. In comparison, the switch-hitter is batting .236 in 637 career at-bats as a lefty with eight home runs.

AINT LIFE GRAND: Binghamton has hit six grand slams in their last 104 games, including two from Josh Rodriguez. The B-Mets hit six grand slams in their previous 494 games. There have been 21 total grand slams hit in the EL this season, including four from Portland (second most).

VS. BAYSOX: Binghamton is 3-1 against Bowie this season, outscoring the Baysox 26-12. The B-Mets have held Bowie to two runs or less in all three victories. This is the final series between these two teams in 2015. Binghamton is 14-7 against Bowie in the past three seasons, winning the season series each of the past two years.

LEFTY: The B-Mets are facing a lefty starter for the second straight game. Binghamton is batting .262 against LHP this season compared to .255 against RHP. Gavin Cecchini leads the way with a .392 batting average in 97 at-bats against lefties.

THREES COMPANY: Binghamton has homered in two of their last eight games, hitting three home runs in each of the two games.

START ME UP: Gavin Cecchini is batting .432 in his last 10 games. He is 14-for-29 with six RBI in his last six games. Cecchini is batting .384 since July 1st.

RISP: Bowie is batting .147 (14-for-95) with men in scoring position over their last 11 games. Meanwhile, the Baysox have still averaged 5.0 runs per game over their last 18.

NEED FOR SPEED: These two teams rank in the bottom of the league in stolen bases. Bowie ranks 11th with 49 steals, while the B-Mets are last with 45. The Baysox are 8-for-8 in thefts in their last 15 games.

FRESH START: Vince Belnome is 5-for-11 with three RBI in this first three starts with the B-Mets.

CLUTCH: Nine of Joe Benson's 11 RBI have been go-ahead runs, while another RBI tied the game.

MILESTONE: Brock Peterson has 199 career home runs.
