Avalanche Recalls Mikko Rantanen, Rampage Recalls Trevor Cheek

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche announced that forward Mikko Rantanen has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Rampage have recalled Trevor Cheek from the Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL).
Rantanen, 19, has recorded 21 goals and 31 assists in 44 games with the Rampage this season, setting franchise records for points in a season by a rookie and assists in a season by a rookie. He's played in six contests with the Avalanche this season.
Cheek, 23, has recorded two goals and four assists in 28 games with San Antonio this season. In 25 contests with Fort Wayne, he has 17 goals and eight helpers.
The Rampage return home Sunday, March 20 at 4 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Griffins, which will be the team's annual Pucks & Paws game, presented by Raising Cane's.
