IceCaps Dumped by Crunch 6-2

SYRACUSE, NY - Charles Hudon scored twice but the St. John's IceCaps were thumped 6-2 by the Syracuse Crunch Sunday night at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, New York.

Hudon opened scoring just 1:23 into the first period but the Crunch rattled off five straight goals, including four in the second period, to beat the IceCaps for the second straight night. Hudon scored his second, on the powerplay, at 14:49 of the second period. Bud Holloway picked up two assists in a losing cause.

Zach Fucale started between the pipes for St. John's but was replaced by Eddie Pasquale to start the third, with the IceCaps down 6-2. St. John's was outshot 28-24.
