Bakersfield, Calif. - The Stockton Heat battle back from two separate two-goal deficits to force overtime and eventually earn two points, as the Heat defeat the Bakersfield Condors 6-5 in overtime Saturday night at Rabobank Arena. Hunter Shinkaruk scored a pair of goals including the overtime winner, while Derek Grant continued his stellar return to the lineup with a three-point night that extends his point streak to seven games. The Stockton Heat will now travel to Winnipeg to face the Manitoba Moose in a two-game series, beginning Monday night at the MTS Centre.
