October 31, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL)
San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO- The Colorado Avalanche have reassigned forward Gabriel Bourque to the San Antonio Rampage. In addition, forward Shawn Ouellette-St. Amant has been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.
Bourque, 26, was the fifth-round (132nd overall) pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The Rimouski native has spent the last six seasons in the Predators system logging 122 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and 247 appearances with Nashville. In his first season with the Colorado Avalanche, the seventh-year pro has yet to log a point in his five contests with the Rampage's parent club.
Ouellette-St. Amant, 19, made his Rampage debut in Sunday's showdown against the Ontario Reign and skated in two games with the Colorado Eagles earlier in the season. The left winger spent the last three years playing in the QMJHL with the Val-d'Or Foreurs, helping lead them to a President's Cup during the 2013-14 season and serving as the Alternate Captain during the 2015-16 season. He tallied 113 points total (46g/67a) in 194 games played.
The San Antonio Rampage visit California for their first major road trip of the season when they take on the Bakersfield Condors at Rabobank Arena. Wednesday night's contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is the beginning of a six-game road stint for the Silver and Black. Individual and season tickets are available and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com. The 2016-17 season is presented by Wells Fargo. # # www.sarampage.com
