FRISCO, Texas - The Austin Spurs (5-5), presented by SWBC, -defeated the Texas Legends (6-5) by a final score of 137-126 on the road Wednesday night.

San Antonio Spurs assignee Chimezie Metu led the team with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals in 27 minutes. Spurs assignee Keldon Johnson recorded 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes, while Spurs assignee Luka Samanic posted 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 27 minutes.

Texas started the game on a 11-0 run and held the lead until 1:17 left in the first quarter, when Jeff Ledbetter's three-pointer gave Austin a 31-28 edge. The Spurs had a 13-point lead at halftime and didn't trail for the remainder of the game.

For the Legends, Josh Reaves led all scorers with 29 points, along with 5 rebounds in 32 minutes. Moses Brown posted 22 points and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. Nate Mason recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists.

The Austin Spurs return home for back-to-back games at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park this weekend. The team will take on the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. for Season of Giving Night and will face the Iowa Wolves on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. for Spurs Affiliate Night.
