TONIGHT: The Mudcats continue an away/home three game series with game two tonight versus the Buies Creek Astros at Jim Perry Stadium in Buies Creek, NC. Tonight's game is also the 23rd of 28 total meetings between the two teams this season. The Astros outlasted Carolina last night 5-4 in 10 innings and lead the current series 1-0. Buies Creek also leads the season series 12-10.

ICYMI: Demi Orimoloye hit a two-run home run in the seventh and Trever Morrison hit a game tying solo shot in the eighth, but the Astros answered back with a walk-off single in the tenth from J.J. Matijevic while defeating the Mudcats 5-4 in ten on Tuesday night at Jim Perry Stadium.
