PEARL, MS -- RHP Mitch Atkins has been transferred to Double-A Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett.
Atkins, 28, was 1-3 with a 4.72 ERA in 11 games (five starts) at Triple-A Gwinnett. As a reliever, Atkins is 1-0 with a 1.54 ERA. Atkins spent the 2013 season with Double-A Mississippi, posting a 5-2 record with a 3.47 ERA in 17 games (16 starts). Atkins was signed by the Braves as a free agent on June 3, 2013.
The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 4 disabled.
