
OF Keenyn Walker Transferred to Class A Winston-Salem

The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that OF Keenyn Walker has been transferred to Class A Winston-Salem. In a corresponding move, OF Josh Richmond has been activated from the disabled list. Roster at 25.
Walker, 23, was the White Sox supplemental First Round pick in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft. In 32 games with the Barons this season, Walker hit .155 (17-for-110) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, four RBI and a team-leading 11 steals.
Richmond, 24, was placed on the disabled list on May 24th. In 43 games with the Barons this season, Richmond is hitting .270 (41-for-152) with four home runs, 10 doubles, 15 runs scored and a team-leading 26 RBI.
