The Harrisburg Senators in conjunction with the Washington Nationals have announced that RHP Luis Atilano has been placed on the disabled with a bruised right hand. The Senators have received RHP Erick Arnesen from Potomac to take Atilano's spot on the roster.

Atilano was 1-3 with a 7.50 ERA in five games, all starts. He was originally selected by the Atlanta Braves in the first round of the 2003 draft. He was acquired by the Nats from the Braves on 8/31/06 for OF Darryl Ward.

Arnesen was a 17th round draft choice by the Nats in the 2006 draft. This is his first time at double-A. This year with Potomac he was 4-1 with a 2.23 ERA in six games, all starts. He had struck out 25 batters while walking just 7.

With these moves, the Senators roster is at 24 active players plus three players on the disabled list.
