Artukhin Receives 10-Game AHL Suspension

Springfield, Mass. – Springfield Falcons right wing Evgeni Artukhin has been suspended for ten (10) regular season games by the American Hockey League as a result of receiving a game misconduct penalty for abuse of an official in the Falcons' contest versus the Albany River Rats on Dec. 4 at the Springfield Civic Center.

Artukhin has served the first game of his suspension (Sun., Dec. 5 at Lowell), and will also miss the Falcons' next nine games: Wed., Dec. 8 at Hartford; Fri., Dec. 10 at Worcester; Sun., Dec. 12 at Manchester; Wed., Dec. 15 versus Philadelphia in Tampa Bay; Fri., Dec. 17 at Providence; Sat., Dec. 18 versus Albany; Sun., Dec. 19 at Lowell; Thu., Dec. 23 at Portland and Sun., Dec. 26 at Worcester.
