
Arizona United Soccer Club Adds Luke Rooney and Tyler Blackwood to Roster

PHOENIX - Today, Arizona United Soccer Club announced the signings of forward Tyler Blackwood and midfielder Luke Rooney.
Blackwood comes to the club from English side Queens Park Rangers. He made his professional debut with the club on August 12, 2015, in his lone appearance. He also appeared in three matches, with one goal, on loan with English side Newport County. In the United State, Blackwood appeared in 14 matches, and scored 15 goals, with PDL side Orlando City SC U23s in 2013. He played college soccer with the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida from 2011-2014.
Rooney comes to the club with 185 professional appearances with ten different English clubs since 2009. In his most recent stop, with Crawley Town FC, Rooney appeared in 17 matches and scored one goal during the 2015-16 season. He has already joined the club for their match against Sacramento Republic FC.
Arizona United now has 23 players currently signed for the 2016 season.
