
Ariel Lassiter Called up by Costa Rican National Team

MONTREAL - CF Montréal midfielder Ariel Lassiter has been selected by the Costa Rican national team on Friday.
Lassiter will join Costa Rica for two international matches. He will face Honduras in a play-off for the Copa América 2024 on March 23 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Los Ticos will then face Argentina in a friendly on March 26 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
On his last call-up to the national team, Lassiter played 65 minutes in a 2-0 Costa Rican victory over El Salvador.
The native of Turrialba, Costa Rica, played his first game for Los Ticos on March 23, 2019. Lassiter has 17 caps for his country and has collected one goal and one assist.
