Rosters Announced for Venezuela Versus Italy Friendly Match on March 21 at Chase Stadium

A limited number of tickets remain and are available for purchase here for the first-ever matchup between these two national teams

This week, rosters were announced for the Venezuela versus Italy fútbol friendly on Thursday, March 21 at Chase Stadium. The match, organized by Lions Sports & Media will kickoff at 5 p.m. ET, and marks the first time in history that these two exciting senior national teams meet. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. ET with parking available beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET.

This will be the second time Venezuelan fans in South Florida get to see their national team in action. La Vinotinto previously played at Inter Miami CF's home ground in December of 2023, narrowly falling 1-0 against Colombia in a close matchup between the South American nations. The matchup will be one of Venezuela's two final friendlies ahead of competing at the 2024 Copa América over the summer.

Italian fans in the region, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to watch the Azzurri at Chase Stadium for the first time in what will be Italy's first matchup stateside in nearly 19 years, after facing Ecuador in New York in 2005 in their most recent game in the United States. Additionally, the friendly will serve as a preparation match for Italy as they gear up to defend their crown as European champions at the 2024 UEFA European Championship this summer.

The friendly will be the fourth at Inter Miami's stadium in 2024, as January saw the international matchups between Guatemala and Iceland, Peruvian side Club Universitario and Colombian team Club Atlético Nacional, and Honduras and Iceland take place.
