
ARC Night, Police vs. Fire Highlight Weekend Set

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, open up a weekend set with the first-ever meeting against the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday night.
Before the game on Saturday night, the Flying Monkeys look to defend their crown after winning the Chiefs Cup the past four seasons. The game will be played between the local police departments and the local firefighters with a portion of the ticket proceeds benefiting the Wichita Children's Home. Doors to the event open at 5 p.m. with the opening face-off at 5:15 p.m
Saturday is also the annual Evening with the ARC. The team will be wearing special uniforms that will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds benefiting the ARC of Sedgwick County.
The ARC's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, providing educational and social opportunities to enhance development of individual potential while advocating for supports and services in the community. The ARC, through its seven major programs and hundreds of annual events, provides programs and services for more than 3,700 individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Down Syndrome, Autism, Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy and their families.
Sunday night is Credit Union of America Buy-In Night. Head to any CUA location and pick up your buy-in voucher, which can be redeemed for a free upper level ticket. Fans can also upgrade to the lower level for a small fee. These vouchers are available while supplies last.
