
Ciampini Heads Back to Rockford

INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced Thursday that they have recalled forward Daniel Ciampini from the ECHL's Indy Fuel.
The 25-year-old Ciampini has one goal in eight outings with the IceHogs this season. Embarking on his fourth recall this season, the rookie has appeared in 31 games with the Fuel in 2015-16, tallying 22 points (7g, 15a) and ten penalty minutes. Ciampini ranks sixth on team scoring, third among Indy first-years.
A native of Concord, Ontario, Ciampini played in 15 games for the AHL's Worcester Sharks in 2014-15 upon completing his senior season at Union College. While with the Sharks, he compiled three goals and three helpers.
The Fuel continue a string of three games at Amway Center against the Orlando Solar Bears Thursday and Saturday night. Indy returns to Indiana Farmers Coliseum next Tuesday against the ECHL-leading Missouri Mavericks.
