
Thunder Acquire Goaltender Drew Fielding

Glens Falls, NY -The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have acquired goaltender Drew Fielding from the Brampton Beast, in exchange for future considerations.
Fielding, 25, returns to the Thunder after he appeared in seven games with the team in the first half of the season. The Burlington, ONT native compiled a 5-1-0 record with Adirondack this season and led all Thunder goaltenders with a 1.46 goals against average and a .950 save percentage, along with two shutouts. Fielding opened his professional career with four consecutive victories, including a 32-save shutout in his ECHL debut on November 29 against Greenville. The former University of St. Thomas star was claimed on waivers by Brampton on January 22 and has appeared in six games with the Beast.
