"It's hard to believe in just seven years how great an event the annual Curve Classic has become," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan" who in his first stint with the Altoona Curve was largely responsible for the formation of the event and getting it off the ground floor. "This year proves to be more exciting than any previous year with all the great eight Central PA teams participating."
The nine games of the Curve Classic won't be the only important high school baseball action contested at Blair County Ballpark throughout the spring. The ballpark will also play host to both the PIAA District 6 Baseball Championships on May 21 and 28 and the PIAA State Baseball Championships June 12.
Admission and parking for the Curve Classic is free. The Curve do, however, ask that fans consider making a small monetary donation which will go towards a scholarship in the name of the tournament MVP's school.
