
Rock Cats Have Roster Transaction

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats announced two roster transactions today, each involving an Outfielder.
Outfielder Joe Gaetti, 27, has been placed on the Disabled List with a sprained right ankle. Thus far in the young 2009 Season, Gaetti - a product of North Carolina State and the son of former Twins great, Gary Gaetti - has appeared in 9 games for New Britain and was batting .139.
Outfielder Brandon Roberts, 24, has been restored t the active roster for the first time in 2009. A 6'/185-pound native of Bakersfield, CA and product of Cal Poly, Roberts has been nagged by a series of leg and lower back injuries over the last two seasons. A left handed batter, Roberts had 50 Stolen Bases at Ft. Myers in 2006, tying him for the lead in the Florida State League.
Both moves are effective immediately.
