
Angels Option Francisco Rodriguez To Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (April 21, 2010) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has optioned right-handed pitcher Francisco Rodriguez to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Rodriguez, 27, made his major league debut with the Angels on April 15, pitching one inning of scoreless relief against the New York Yankees. He has appeared in two games of relief for the Bees in 2010, registering two strikeouts and allowing two earned runs in three innings of play. In 2009, the Mexicali, Mexico native owned a 5-4 record with a 3.96 ERA in 44 games (one start). Rodriguez was originally signed by the Angels as a free agent in December 2005.
