COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox and ARC Thrift Stores, and The ARC of the Pikes Peak are teaming up to promote Earth Day at the ballpark on Thursday, April 22. As the world celebrates Earth Day, the citizens of Colorado Springs can do their part by donating and recycling certain technology items and in the process earn a free ticket to the 6:05 PM Sky Sox game versus the Tacoma Rainiers.

Every Sky Sox fan who brings an item of technology to the game on Thursday to be donated to and recycled by ARC will receive a free ticket to that night's game. Items that qualify as technology are:

- Computer Monitors and CPUs

- Laptops

- PDA's

- Cell Phones

- Fax Machines

- Printers

Fans are also encouraged to bring other items for donation to ARC including clothing, shoes, linens, kitchen electrics, cookware, books and toys. Donating items to an ARC Thrift Store is not only charitable but "green" as well. Funds raised through the sales of donated goods provide services and support for kids and adults with developmental disabilities.
