Andres Reyes in Good Spirits; Back at Team Hotel

Inter Miami CF News Release

Inter Miami CF relaunched its inaugural Major League Soccer (MLS) season at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in a match against Orlando City SC last night. The 51st minute saw an injury to Andrés Reyes following a clash with an Orlando City player.

Reyes was evaluated following the injury and released from the hospital last night. He is now back at the team hotel, doing well and in good spirits. He must remain isolated pending COVID-19 test results and clearance from officials on site before rejoining his teammates. Reyes will continue to be monitored and evaluated by medical teams at the Swan and Dolphin Resort.

Inter Miami will continue MLS is Back Tournament play with its second group stage match on July 14 when it takes on Chicago Fire FC at 9 a.m. ET. The match is set to air on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and TSN.
