Anaheim Reassigns Emerson Etem to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced Friday that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned right wing Emerson Etem to the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Etem participated in the Ducks' 3-2 defeat to San Jose and recorded 10:11 of ice time. In 39 games played with Norfolk this season, Etem has 16 goals and 42 points with a plus-11 rating. He has skated in 29 games for Anaheim this season and has netted seven goals and helped on four more.

The Ducks selected Etem in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft making him the highest drafted player born and trained in Southern California in Anaheim history and the third-highest in league history.

Norfolk continues their five-game homestand Saturday night against the Binghamton Senators. The Admirals will wear special edition Muscular Dystrophy Association Night jerseys that will be auctioned off on the ice immediately following the game. The event is presented by PAPCO and participants can bid on game-worn jerseys pulled right off the players' backs.

Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. tomorrow night and the doors open at 6:00 p.m.
