Abbotsford Heat News Release
Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that they have assigned forward Turner Elson to the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL.
Elson, a native of New Westminster, BC has played in 37 games with the Heat this season and has recorded three points (2-1-3) and 19 penalty minutes. In nine games with Alaska this season, Elson has recorded four points (2-2-4) and 14 penalty minutes.
Abbotsford's six -game road trip will continue in Hamilton on Saturday, March 22nd .The next Heat home game is against the Rockford Ice Hogs on Friday, April 4th at 7:00 pm at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.
