
Admirals Sign Center Radoslav Illo to ATO

NORFOLK, Va. -- The Norfolk Admirals announced Friday that the team has inked center Radoslav Illo to an Amatuer Tryout Contract (ATO).
Illo, 24, recently finished his collegiate career at Bemidji State University in Minnesota. He played 31 games this season and a total of 132 in his four years at Bemidji State. He accrued 25 goals, 54 points and 77 penalty minutes in his four years as a Beaver.
Anaheim drafted the Bystrica, Slovakia native in 2009 with a fifth round pick before he enrolled at Bemidji State in 2010. Illo is familiar with the Hampton Roads area from his time with the Hampton Roads Whalers at the junior level in 2007-08.
Next Home Game & Promotions : The Admirals host East-Division leader Binghamton for a two-game weekend series this Friday and Saturday at Scope. Friday's game at 7:30 p.m. is adoptVAkids Night as well as Mascot Mania . Saturday night is Muscular Dystrophy Association Jersey Auction Night presented by PAPCO and Boy Scouts Night. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. with the jersey auction held right after the game on the ice.
