
Anaheim Ducks Sign Kiefer Sherwood to Two-Year Entry-Level Contract

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed left wing Kiefer Sherwood to a two-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sherwood, 22 (3/31/95), recorded 9-21=30 points with 24 penalty minutes (PIM) in 36 games with Miami of Ohio University during the 2017-18 National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) campaign. Sherwood spent the last three seasons with the Miami RedHawks from 2015-18, collecting 34-52=86 points and 52 PIM in 106 career NCAA games.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Sherwood was named to the NCHC Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Conference Teams during the 2016-17 season. Sherwood also played three seasons with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League (USHL) prior to his collegiate career, earning 42-48=90 points with 61 PIM in 126 games.
